Kaya!

Welcome to the official website for Noongar Dandjoo, a television program produced by Curtin University in partnership with the Noongar community. Noongar Dandjoo is produced in Perth, Western Australia, which is home to the Noongar people, the traditional custodians of country in the South-West region of WA.

In making this program, Curtin media students progress their professional skills while also learning about Aboriginal people, culture and history. The program was first broadcast on NITV in 2007, and continues today with the aim of celebrating Noongar culture and community.

Neil Coyne hosts the program, sharing stories about inspirational people and talented artists, and discussing issues of current interest to the Noongar community. Curtin University thanks the many Aboriginal people who have contributed to this program and helped to develop the cultural competency of our students.

Curtin University acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which Curtin Perth is located, the Wadjuk people of the Nyungar Nation; and on our Kalgoorlie campus, the Wongutha people of the North-Eastern Goldfields. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
